What makes a family decide to leave a good house, good job, good school and good life? The opportunity to spend a year travelling around the good ol’ United States! On July 15th 2012, Robbie, Karen and C will embark on a 1 year journey exploring our beautiful country. Our home for the year is an 8’x7′ Coleman Cobalt pop-up trailer and crew-cab Ford F150. We have no real itinerary, no reservations, and no clue what we’re getting ourselves into!
In order to make this happen, Robbie quit his job at Microsoft and we’re living off savings. We’ll “road-school” C for the year. We have a house-sitter taking care of Karen’s beloved garden and our two old cats.
We know it won’t always be easy, but we hope the adventure will be worth it!
